RAYMONDRODGERS MUIRHEAD

RAYMOND RODGERS MUIRHEAD 1930 – 2017 Ray passed away peacefully at Hospice Niagara in his 87th year. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marion, of more than 62 years and their wonderful family, Peter (Ellen), Steven (Carolyn), Bill (Laura), David (Heather), Margie (Awni), 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ray was predeceased by his parents Stuart and Marguerite Muirhead, his brother Stuart and his brother-in-law Beecher Menzies. Ray worked at the St. Catharines Public Utilities Commission for many years as the Customer Service Engineer. He was an active member of the Lions Club and also a member of the Probus Club. Ray loved to spend time with family and especially enjoyed summers on the dock at the cottage. His church community was very important to him and he was an active member at Mountainview United Church for over 50 years. His family and friends will remember him as an avid tennis player who loved a nice bottle of wine, a good game of bridge and travelling the world. Please come and share your memories of Ray with his family at the visitation on Wednesday, May 17, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Hulse and English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines. A celebration of Ray’s life will take place at Mountainview United Church in St. Catharines on Thursday, May 18 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mountainview United Church, Hospice Niagara or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated in Ray’s memory.
