SMITH, Richard Allen – Peacefully at home on July 4, 2016 at the age of 66. Greatly missed by his wife Jeanette of 42 years and beloved feline companion Princess. Survived by brothers Bruce (Anne), Brian (Brook), Robert (Lucie), Paul (Lee) and Barry (Sylvia) and sisters-in-law Joanne (Fred) and Gillian. Richard will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and twin great-nieces and twin great-nephews. Also missed by dear friends Charlene and Derry. Visitation will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home “Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Rd. (east of St. Clair Ave. E.), on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Durham Region or the Toronto Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
