Robert Gordon SHILLABEER
July 21, 1931 to October 15, 2016
Suddenly at home in Toronto, Robert passed joining his wife Ethel Lillian (Burnett), parents, Gordon and Phyllis, sisters, Barbara and Deirdre (Rosen) and brother-in-law Bert Rosen. Survived by his sister, Deslie and aunts, Daphne Aitken and Helen Burkett.
A longtime employee of the former Scarborough Public Utilities Metering Department.
Robert was an avid birder, well known in the local community and a former member of the Oshawa Flying Club.
Per Robert’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service. As a memorial to Robert, donations may be made to the Donkey Sanctuary in Guelph, Toronto Wildlife Centre, or OSPCA.
