ROBERT WILLIAM PUTT Passed away peacefully at Bracebridge Hospital on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the age of 91. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Audrey Elizabeth (nee Scott) and their daughter, Carol Elizabeth Nieuwesteeg and her husband, Arthur Nieuwesteeg. He was a loving father to Barbara Cassidy (husband Stephen), Beverly Putt Gilbert and Wendy Putt (Gerard Loisel). Loving grandfather of Rob (Allison LaCroix) Nieuwesteeg, Lianne (Corey Kantola), Cameron Nieuwesteeg, Kennedy Cassidy, Lyndsay Gilbert, Amy and Tyler Putt and great-grandfather of Bennett. Dear brother-in-law of Kay and Bob Phinnamore. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 51. He was a Past President of the Niagara Falls Lions Club and a lifetime member of Lions International. He was also the Past Commodore and lifetime member of Smuggler’s Cove Boat Club and Past Commander of Niagara Power Squadron and Sail.
