ROSS WILLIAM APTED As was his wish, Ross passed away peacefully, at home on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 after a long, brave battle with cancer, with his loving wife Elaine (McKinlay) and his adoring Golden Retriever Emily, at his side. Ross was predeceased by his parents Marjorie and Ronald Apted and by his beloved sister Linda British (Ernie). Ross was a big brother-in-law to the McKinlay boys, Jim (Katy), Paul (Lee), Mark (Linda) and Matthew (Margarita). He was uncle to several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by special cousins Bob Apted (Sharon) and Ralph Apted (Ruth) as well as Sharon Coates (John) and Peter Apted (Sharon). He leaves behind his best friends Carl Lawson and Don Scarfe. Ross’ other best friends, Monty, Sarah and Henry (Hank) are with Ross now. Ross was a longtime employee of Ontario Hydro at Lakeview Generating Station. At Ross’ request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
