RUDOLPHBERNARD BAUMAN

RUDOLPH BERNARD BAUMAN On Tuesday, December 27, 2016, in his 86th year, Rudy went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ while surrounded by his loving family. Although we know he is in a far better place, he will be greatly missed by his dearly loved wife Marilyn of 57 years; his children Warren and his wife Beth, the late Nancy Joy and Tim and his wife Joy; his grandchildren Katelyn and her husband Steve, Stephanie, Zachary, Abigail and Emily; his brothers Wilfred and his wife Elvie and Clifford and his wife Norma and many treasured family and friends. Rudy dedicated his life’s work to the family business, Fidea Jewellers which was founded in 1928 by his father Paul, serving his loyal clientele alongside his brother Cliff with great skill, expertise and a kind smile for over 60 years. His greatest passion however, was serving his Saviour. He ministered faithfully through the years in many ways, most especially through the gift of music which he loved. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 1st from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Community Hall at Shepherd Village, 3760 Sheppard Ave. E. and a Service of Celebration will be held on Monday, January 2nd at 11 a.m. at Jarvis Street Baptist Church, 130 Gerrard St. E. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Toronto Baptist Seminary and Bible College as an expression of sympathy. “It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to Your name, O Most High”
