SCHUURMAN, Appie (nee Zylstra) With great sadness, we announce the passing of Appie Schuurman, called home by God on August 23, 2016, to be reunited with her son Jeffrey (1990). Loving wife of 46 years to Cornelius Schuurman, and mother to Greg and Lisa Schuurman, and Mark and Leah Schuurman. She was the adored Grandma of Emma, Samuel and Alyssa, and Marcus, Titus and Stella. Dear sister of Corrie Sroka (Frank) and Isaac Zylstra (Flora), and sister-in-law to Ray and Dina Schuurman, Henry and Wilma deYoung, Sharon and LeRoy Guenther, Ralph and Audrey Schuurman, Hilda-Ann and Ron Voorberg, Len and Joanne Schuurman, Miranda and Henry Heersink. Auntie Appie will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their children. Family will receive friends at KITCHING STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME , 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at CALVARY CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 265 Middletown Rd., Flamborough, on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will be held prior to the service at Mt.
