Shizuko KISHITA

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Gunso Kishita and loving mother of Lily Motomura (Hiro), Ken Kishita (predeceased Jane), May Eto, Nancy Yoshikawa (Akira). Cherished sister of Toki Nishimura (Checker), Mike (Amy), predeceased by brothers and sisters Shig, Yosh, Kiyomi and Harumi. Adored Obaachan to 8 grandchildren, Leslie and Melanie, Nikki and Tiffiny, Kevin and Kiyomi, Mika and Koji and great-grandmother to Tyler, Madison, Travis, Kiyoshi, Emma and Khloe. Shizuko was an example of kindness and goodness to all that knew and loved her. She will be forever missed. A visitation will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, Mount Pleasant Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8th followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. If desired, in lieu of Koden and flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Toronto Buddhist Church, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
