SIMPSON, Steven Charles On Saturday, June 18, 2016, in his 66th year, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Cherished husband of Margaret for 47 years. Beloved father of Kenneth (Corina), Matthew (Livia) and John (Justin McClenaghan). Loving papa of Emily, Jessica, Hanna, Kara, Lillian, Lyndsey and Steven. Brother-in-law of Maryann and Brian Knight, Merie Maurice and partner Bob Potter and Jim and Patti Fox. Loved uncle and great- uncle. Will be greatly missed by best friend Doug Ritchie. Predeceased by brothers Frank and William, nephew Chris Maurice, good buddy George Johnston and his loved dog Lady. Retired letter carrier of Canada Post. Charter member of Grimsby and District Lions Club. Steve was a happy man who touched many lives with his humour, love and generous nature. He tended his garden with the same love and care he gave his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service at Fifty United Church, 1455 Hwy 8, Winona, Saturday, June 25th at 9:45 beginning with a 15 minute Lions Service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Fifty United Church, Grimsby and District Lions Club or Hamilton SPCA would be appreciated.
