SPENCE Richard William December 1937 – July 2016 Peacefully at the Bob Kemp Hospice with his loved ones there, Richard lost his 3 year courageous battle with cancer and never complained. He will be greatly missed by his wife Susan (Susie) of 40 years. Also greatly missed by our close family. He leaves behind his identical twin David (Doreen), Bob (Trudy) and George (Bon). Predeceased by his parents Mildred and Raymond Spence, brother Ray, deceased sisters, Eva Paul, Winnie Martin, Mary Sheirk, Beulah Cutler and Geraldine Ross. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the Juravinski Hospital C3, C4 and Henderson units, in addition to the Para Med Nurses, Bayshore, P.S.W’s who were wonderful, to the CAP Organization for their tremendous help and to all the wonderful staff and volunteers at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice who cared for Rich and Susan and helped them in so many ways on Richard’s journey. They will always be in his family’s hearts for their kindness and compassion. Richard loves nature and his times at the Muskoka cottage for many years, the loons and sunsets he called “Gods World”. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment and dinner in Richards honour will be held at a later date.
