DAY, Stanley William – (Veteran WWII) Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga, on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 70 years. Loving father of Linda Newsome (Peter), Donna Beaton (Bill) and Ron (Gail). Cherished Grandpa of David (Shannon), Sarah (Andrew), Michael (Sarah), Mark, Matthew (Jen), Trudy, Scott and Meaghan. Adored Great-grandpa of Adelyn, Jack, Sophie, Avery, Elizabeth and Jack. Stanley was an employee of Chrysler Canada for nearly 50 years. He was able to pursue his passion for golf as often as he could at Lakeview Golf Course and the greens will miss him.
