Stephen William HOLMES
March 6, 1948 – April 11, 2017
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Steve after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve is survived by his wife Madeline Elbirt, his sister Bev Clute (Brian), his nephews Kevin Clute (Lee) and Craig Clute (Victoria), grand-nephews Clyde, Grayson and Owen and grand-niece Edie. He was predeceased by his parents Edythe and Al Holmes. Steve worked for 32 years at Underwriters Laboratories. He was a man of many talents and when he took early retirement began a home repair business. Steve will be remembered as a perfectionist who took great pride in his work. He was a caring man who loved his family. Memories will be shared on Saturday, April 15th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, Toronto.
