SUMMERFIELD, William Arthur May 6, 1928 – August 14, 2016 Peacefully passed away at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville in his 89th year. Predeceased by his parents Edith and Arthur Summerfield, infant son George and daughter Linda Purcer. Survived by his children Betty, Diane, Ronald and Robert and many grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his brother Charles and wife Leona and their family. Best friend and sweetheart to Carrie McKay and loving friend and grandpa to Jennifer and Jillian McKay. Special thank you to the nurses and staff at H.W.M.H. for their special care and kindness to Bill for the past 11 months. Friends will be received for visitation in the chapel at BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME , 315 Broad St. E., Dunnville on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 8:30 p.m. followed immediately after by the Funeral Service at 8:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
