ARSENAULT, Susan Lynn Passed away on April 4, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 60. Devoted mother and best friend to her daughter Erin, loving daughter of Eileen, treasured “Tee” to her nephew Landon, and a special sister to Michelle and Darlene (Rob). She will be missed by Bert Haynes (Rose) and by many beloved family and friends. Susan was predeceased by her father Cyril Arsenault (2005) and her beloved grand dog Reilly (2017). Sue was born in Brantford and grew up in the west end of Hamilton. She had several careers; in her 20s she was a practical nurse and always had fond memories of working with special needs adults and palliative care patients. She was a fixture in the Locke Street area where she managed a post office and craft store. Sue was an avid animal lover, a Halloween fanatic, an excellent poker player and a 30 year member of Canadian calorie counters. The family would like to thank all the staff of Juravinski Cancer Centre, Juravinski Hospital ward C3 and St. Peter’s Hospital Ward 3 west for all the care and compassion shown to Sue and her family during this difficult time.
