CHUKIL, Sylvia (nee Ljubovich) Passed away peacefully at Idlewyld Manor in Hamilton on Friday, April 14, 2017 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Emil (1986). Dear and loving mother of Kathryn (Ron) Jones, Michael and Deborah (Rob) Campbell. Cherished grand-mother to Jeremy (Robyn) Jones, Mark (Jennifer) Jones, Erin Campbell (Nigel Bateson), Jaymie Campbell (Jeremy Calhoun). As well, adoring great-Grammie to Sylvie, Alexandra, Gavin and Ryan. Predeceased also by her brother, Peter Ljubovich and brother-in-law, Steve Chukil. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staffs of Lookout Ridge Retirement Home and Idlewyld Manor Long Term Care for the exceptional care and compassion provided during their mom’s time there. The family is truly grateful and honoured that they all played such an essential role in their mother’s life and care. A special thanks also, to the visitors and residents of these facilities for the kindness and friendship shown to Sylvia and her family. The family will receive friends at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Saturday, April 22nd, from 10 – 12 noon (2 hours prior to service), with the funeral beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Pleasantview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Lookout Ridge Retirement Home, Fonthill, Idlewyld Manor, Hamilton, or a charity of one’s choice.
