BITTMAN, Sylvia Marlene July 19, 1940 – June 17, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sylvia Marlene Bittman (Nee Nagel) announce her passing in her 77th year. Beloved wife of John for 54 years and proud Mom to Lianne, Bonnie and Cindy. Sylvia passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 17, 2017. Sylvia, “Aunt Sib” or “Sibby” to many, was a feisty woman whose beauty and humour lit up a room. She was at her finest when helping others navigate the maze of life and would have wanted to thank family and friends that joined her on her journey through life. Predeceased by loving parents Ernest and Reta Nagel, daughter Cindy, sister-in-law Viola Bittman and brother-in-law Carl Meadows. Sylvia is survived by her husband John, daughters Lianne and Bonnie (Steve), grandchildren Trent (Kayla), Kevin, Mateos and Niko, great-granddaughter Emersyn, sisters Shirley Meadows and Gloria White (Gary) as well as numerous and loved cousins, nieces and nephews. To celebrate Sylvia’s life, a memorial celebration will be held at the J. W. Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock St. E., Dunnville N1A 1J6 on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The family would like to thank Dr. A. Kamouna of Dunnville’s War Memorial Hospital and the Juravinski Hospital’s CICU for their compassion and care for Sylvia. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Juravinski Hospital.
