Michele TARASCHI
TARASCHI, Michele Passed away peacefully at Regina Gardens Nursing Home on Monday, August 29, 2016 in his 98th year. Michele was a loving husband and father who worked hard to provide for his family. He loved to garden, going for walks and enjoyed a nice glass of wine. He will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Emilia (2012). He will be dearly missed by his children Linda Castelli (Emidio), Ann Flammini (Luigi), and Romeo Taraschi (Michelina). Cherished grandfather of Mark, Dean, Tanya Jones (Steve), Michelle, Michael and reunited with his grandson Pat. Proud great-grandfather of Matthew, Owen and Alexis. Brother of the late Lucia Rocci (the late Franco), the late Cesare Taraschi (Filomena), the late Umberto Taraschi (the late Dora), the late Splendora Passamonte (the late Vincenzo), Chiarina Catena (the late Cesare), the late Rinaldo Taraschi (the late Assunta), the late Antonio Taraschi, the late Aldo Taraschi, the late Elvira Rapachietti (Giuseppe) and the late Domenica Dignazio (the late Antonio). Brother-in-law of Gabriele Rocci (Filomena), Algisa Rastelli (Mario), Domenico Rocci (Carmine), the late Ginetta DiMarco (the late Cecchino), and the late Addoloratta Marsilii (the late Mario). Michele will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada, Italy and Venezuela. The family wishes to thank the staff at Regina Gardens for taking such good care of their dad. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church (corner of Nash Road and Barton Street), Hamilton on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 9 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
