TEHARA, Tetsuko —
Tetchan or Sue, as she was known to friends, was our mom and bachan, known for her kind and gentle ways. When Tetsuko passed peacefully last week, she left so many cherished memories for daughters Cathy (Sandy) and Carol, son Gary (Laurie), brother Kichi, sister Sumiko and sisters-in-law Elsie, Kathleen and Kay. And bachan’s unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of grandchildren Ryan (Candice), Stephanie and Naomi. Tetsuko will be deeply missed, but is now with husband Heijiro (Joe), brothers Shori, Shoji, sister Teruko and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. On Saturday, April 8th, we will be remembering our mom and bachan at the Toronto Buddhist Church. Visitation from 1–2 p.m., followed by a service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church would be a wonderful tribute
