GROEN, Teunis “Tom” After a lengthy illness the Lord took out of our midst Teunis (Tom) Groen, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Park Lane Terrace in Paris, Ontario. He is survived by his beloved wife Alice, his dear children Grace and Barry Everts, John and Nicolette Groen, Denise and Al MacEachen and Harriette and Koen den Uyl along with 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; his brother Neil and sisters-in-law Betty Groen, Hennie Stryker and Grietje Kroes. Predeceased by brothers Andy and George and sister Elizabeth. Friends will be received at the Hamilton Maranatha Free Reformed Church, Mohawk Road on Saturday, May 20th from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Hamilton Maranatha Free Reformed Church on Monday, May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. A private family burial will take place Saturday morning, May 20th at 10:30 a.m. at Jerseyville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Peace Haven in Brantford, ON would be appreciated by the family. Psalm 42:5
