QUINN III, Thomas Patrick —
April 24, 1936 to August 29, 2016
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father after years of declining health. He will be forever held closely in the hearts of his children and their spouses, Terri and Brian, Tom and Christine, Ted, Tammy and Evan; his grandchildren, Eden, Emmett, Wyatt, Maya, Thomas, Adeline, Maizie and Gideon; and the many cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends whose lives he graced. His last years were a struggle as he never fully recovered from the loss of his one true love, his wife Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Quinn (nee Peters). They are finally together again, holding each other’s hands as they watch over us, amazed at what their love has created. Visitation Wednesday, August 31st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 1812 Eglinton Ave. West, Toronto (at Dufferin). A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, September 1st at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 640 Glenholme Ave., Toronto (at Eglinton, east of Dufferin). Reception following at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (www.alzheimer.ca) would be appreciated.
