THORNLEY, Diane Marie Unexpectedly, yet peacefully on June 25, 2016 with family by her side. Beloved wife to Dr. James H. Thornley. Loving mother to Bonnie Elder-Frenette (Jean Luc) and Brenda Elder and step-mother to Sarah-Jane Thornley and Simon Thornley (Kuniko). Cherished Nana to Claire, Danielle, Hannah and Jin. Adored sister of Anne Hatcher (Terry), Eric Holdsworth (Kelly) and Annette Lyons (John). She will be dearly missed by all her extended family and friends. Diane was a dedicated employee with HHS, McMaster for over 30 years as the Infection Control Coordinator. Her family invite friends to a memorial service held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 272 Wilson St. in Ancaster on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. In continuing celebrating her life, a memorial gathering will follow in the church hall.
