VELMA OLIVE BROOKS July 10, 1929 – February 25, 2017 Passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her sister Jenny Jacobs. Daughter of the late Robert and Olive Brooks, predeceased by her siblings Ruth, Frank, Peggy, Doris, Tom, Jim and Billy. Special Aunt to Susan, Karen (Alex), Matt and Trevor, Kathy (Doug), Doug, Mike and Chris. She will be forever remembered by her friends and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Norway Cemetery Chapel, 256 Kingston Road, on Saturday, March 4th at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
