ANTONUCCI, Vince April 10, 1943 – October 16, 2017 It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a kind and gentle man, Vince Antonucci at the age of 74. Best friend and cherished husband for 49 years of Nancy. He will be forever loved by his children, Michael and Gina Antonucci, and Lisa and Marco Barzetti. His grandchildren, Julia, Stephanie, Aliya, Vincent and baby angel Marie will always have a special place in their hearts for Nonno Vince. Son of the late Raffaele and the late Maria Antonucci and son-in-law of the late Pellegrino and the late Maria Iampietro. Loved brother of Maria and the late Tony Mosca, Lena and Ralph Caruso, Susie and Sam Di Gennaro, and in Italy, Ida and Aldo Simeone, and Angela and Antonio Barbieri. Treasured brother-in-law of the late Michael and Carmina Iampietro, and Leonard and Theresa Iampietro. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives he has touched with his love, laughter, and witty sense of humour especially at the Coffee Shop, Tai Chi and while serving his specialty coffee to friends at home. Special thanks to Dr. Ross Allega, Dr. Craig Ainsworth, Dr. Paul Engels and the staff of the Hamilton General Hospital for their care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 3-8 p.m. with Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mount Albion Road, on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations in Vince’s memory may be made to St. Luke’s Church.
