VINE, Joan Marie Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Juravinski Hospital on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in her 75th year. Predeceased by her husband William “Tiger” Vine. Much loved mother of Kim (Nick) and Billy (Lacey). Cherished Grannie to Kessa, Colton, Davin and Carly. Special sister to Brian, Marguerite, Carissa and Bonita. She will also be missed by many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME , 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service to commemorate Joan’s life will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, 260 Rymal Road East (at Upper Wellington). The family would like to thank everyone who helped us through this difficult journey, in particular the Juravinski Cancer Centre team and the C3 team at the Juravinski Hospital. A special thank you to her sister Chrissy and friend Marina for their extraordinary support and encouragement along the way.
