LAXTON, Wilfred Richard Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, July 21, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Wilfred leaves behind his loving wife Eleanor, his son Jason (Heather), his step-children Nancy, Steven and Kevin and his grandchildren Quinn, Vivian, Chantelle, Kevin, Tanner and Karly. He will be missed by his sisters Anne (Danny) and Lynda and his Aunt Dorothy. He will always be remembered as a loving uncle to his nephews Danny, Michael, Jamie, Sean and David. Wilfred was predeceased by his parents Lois and Wilfred Laxton and his son Darryl. Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial service at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME, 114 Main St. E., Milton, 905-878-4452, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017. As expressions of sympathy, a donation in memory of Wilfred to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
