VERBURG, William Gustav Aged 54, passed away peacefully at his home in Hamilton, Ontario surrounded by family and friends on February 28, 2017. He was born on July 7, 1962. He loved his tractors and spending time with his wife and family. Billy is survived by his adoring wife of 20 years, Lois Earl; his treasured brother James (Linda) Verburg; his beloved sisters Mary Thorburn, Carolyn (James) Shea, and Tracy Verburg; and his dear mother Ida Verburg (nee Ruckpaul). Predeceased by his father Hertog Peter Verburg. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, and many friends to mourn his loss. Guests will be received at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME-FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Fund would be appreciated by his family.
