WILLIAM HEDDERWICK It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of William Hedderwick on January 29, 2017 at age 89. Predeceased by his beloved wife Agnes and deeply missed by all his family. William was a graduate of the University of Toronto, B. Com, BSW and MSW. He had a long and distinguished career with the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto and was a devoted member of Deer Park United Church and very involved in the work of that congregation and the wider church. Bill had a personal motto that defined who he was every day of his life: “I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being; let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” A service to celebrate William’s life will take place on March 18th at Fairlawn Avenue United Church, 28 Fairlawn Ave., Toronto. Visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 and service at 2:00 p.m. Donations in his memory can be made to Camp Scugog and can be left at the church office or given at the service.
