Donald Roy ZINCK
ZINCK, Donald Roy Born in Robinson’s Corner, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Juravinski Hospital after a short, but valiant battle with cancer. Don recently celebrated his 82nd birthday. Don has now joined his beloved wife Elaine who passed away 5 years ago. Loving father to Colleen (Tim) Band and Karin (Ray) Donahue. Loving grandfather to Nicole (Andrew), Christopher and Ryan. Don is survived by his 3 sisters: Joyce (Dennis) James, Barbara Scoville and Judy (David) Nickerson. Don was a loyal parishioner for many years at the Church of the Resurrection, as well as a member of “Roy’s Boys.” He was an avid stamp collector and belonged to the Hamilton Stamp Club. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME-FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East on Saturday and Sunday, August 20 and 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Church of the Resurrection, 435 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek. We would like to thank the staff on C3 of the Juravinski Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.
